Lincoln Highway Road Trip, end of day 2, with an update and a movie trivia quiz (and switching over to color): two days, three states.
I am writing this from near Phoenixville, PA. I crossed over from NJ earlier in the day. After a spending a good part of the day exploring Princeton I drove over to PA at Trenton (no stop there despite all of the history associated with it – another really grotty place). I also drove right through Philadelphia – this is not a big city trip but have enjoyed past visits. Valley Forge in the morning.
OK, time for today’s movie trivia quiz. Name the movie in which this theater (in Phoenixville, PA) was featured in a key scene. There’s a big clue on the marquee.
The answer is, of course, the 1958 classic “The Blob” – Phoenixville has an annual Blobfest, and I downloaded the second picture – of what appears to be a reenactment – from the Blobfest site.
