The National Automobile Museum is located just south of the Truckee River at the edge of the downtown. Among its many awards it’s been named one of America’s Five Greatest Automobile Museums.
Most of the cars are from the now legendary collection of the late Bill Harrah, the founder of Harrah’s Hotels and Casinos. Read more here.
These were all taken hand held with my Fuji using a fast prime. I always seem to be drawn to the hood ornaments and badges.
They will seem to be in a very random order. That’s true. The only logic is that this is the order in which I took them.
It is a fantastic collection. Although it is just a fraction of what Harrah used to own – much of the collection was auctioned off after his death – what is there is still pretty amazing.
