The old C&H Sugar plant in Crockett dates back to 1906. Crockett really seems like it is lost in time.
At the Carquinez Strait the original 1927 cantilever span was later replaced by a suspension bridge officially called the Alfred Zampa Memorial Bridge (2003). The second parallel cantilever bridge from 1958 remains.
