It’s Superman!
After Plainfield I left the Lincoln Highway for a side trip to Plano (a/k/a Smallville) where I was ticketed to visit Mies van der Rohe’s seminal Farnsworth House. (I will do a gallery with my pics from the visit there.)
I also did a short walkabout in Plano which is Smallville in the 2013 reboot of the Superman films, “Man of Steel”. They seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of the filming done there. The US flag mural from the film (located in the downtown) was still there in 2016!
On the way back to the Lincoln Highway and the journey northward I did a short stop in Oswego. The last four photos were taken in its historic district. Lovely.
