Lincoln Highway Road Trip, day 3, in the evening.
A long day of driving. Arrived Gettysburg early evening. Valley Forge park was fantastic. Spent a good part of the day exploring Lancaster County PA (Amish country) which away from the main roads and the tatty shops in the towns is a wholly different experience. Lots of Amish riding around in their buggies and working the fields. One photographs very discretely.
Another day, another river. Crossed the Delaware yesterday – today the Susquehanna (that is the historic Lincoln Highway bridge looking towards Columbia from Wrightsville). Mostly I stayed on the Lincoln Highway route and off freeways and other roads.
